Antenna –
Most antennas provided with routers
are intended to spread the signal around, as they’re multi-directional. The
most effective place for your router may not be the most convenient, if there’s
various objects surrounding your router then much of the signal is being
misdirected and wasted. If you think that obstruction may be a problem then it’s
time for a new antenna with a more focused output!
Wi-Fi Repeater
–
If you can’t have your router as
close as you need it to be, it’d be a good idea to install a wireless repeater.
A wireless repeater expands the range of your existing signal without the need
to move your router. Wireless repeaters are used by a lot of businesses who say
that the repeater has made a big difference to their connectivity!
